Our Mission
PE Collective exists to help AI professionals navigate their careers with real information — not recruiter spin, not hype, not LinkedIn fluff.
We built this because we needed it ourselves. Finding accurate salary data, understanding which companies are actually good to work for, and connecting with other practitioners was harder than it should be. So we created a place where AI professionals can share job leads, compare notes on compensation, and help each other level up.

The Founder
Rome Thorndike
Rome Thorndike is the founder of PE Collective and VP of Revenue at Firmograph.ai, where he builds AI agents that analyze go-to-market data. He manages a GenAI community of 1,300+ practitioners and publishes The AI News Digest, one of the top-ranked AI newsletters. Rome has spent 15+ years in B2B sales and revenue leadership, including roles at Salesforce, Microsoft (Azure AI/ML), Snapdocs, and Datajoy (acquired by Databricks). He holds an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business where he studied statistical analysis and machine learning. He built PE Collective because prompt engineering is the most important skill in AI and practitioners deserve a dedicated community and career resource.
